Lifes Lessons

These day i spend most of my time in my own company. A lot of people ask me if I am lonely. Of course not, I love my own company. Your best friends are your thoughts and I have many of them..more so in this splendid isolation that I live in..These days the most stimulating conversations I have are with my house help..She in Bosnian and I in English....Dont get me wrong..she is a fine woman who has seen much sadness in life..a single parent...who lost her husband very early in life in an accident..Still when she walks into the house its like sunshine..ever smiling and joking...I wonder where she draws her strength from...partly I suspect from the cigarettes she loves to smoke...and the kafa (coffee) she loves to drink....but from her I have learnt that Life is about the happiness that you grasp amidst all the sadness. Happy thoughts then!
